I get off the bus cause I wasn’t even suppose to be on that bus anyway. I’m headed home and I know she’s waiting. I see the next bus heading my way, a bit of running, a bit of luck, a faded smile to the driver and I punch my ticket. The bus is a little bit colder, a little bit dimmer. The teli warning about delays. reciting my next morning schedule, Morning breakfast with Lynn followed by lunch at the
Mansion with all her family. Sleep digging into me , awakeness rusting my skin. We are already here and I push the stop button.
